One of the reasons I enjoy taking photos so much is because it gives me the opportunity to hang out with some pretty cool people!
Meet Jen and Trev. I know Jen from an online wedding planning site, of all places, and she hired me to take her engagement and wedding photos. Jen and Trev like animation (oops... missed ComicCon this year), animals (fun, but can make a shoot crazy) and movies. Well, I picked the historic Ken Theatre in Kensington for the site of some of their photos. They were really good sports as we trekked around Central San Diego for photos -- even though Trev had a very sore tooth!

And just below this, that's Abby. Abby is one of the coolest teenagers I know and her aunt is one of the coolest friends I have. Abby is smart and witty and has a good head on her shoulders -- a welcome change to the stereotypical teenagers you often see on shows and in the mall. So, when I needed some more pictures of teens and Abby graciously volunteered a weekend morning. After climbing into some planter boxes, standing next to a dumpster and sitting and sitting and sitting on a bridge waiting for visitors to go by, we ended up with some pretty cool pictures.

While I don't expect to click with every client on every shoot, I usually end up having a pretty good time during photo sessions and try to make the whole photo session as fun as possible for my clients. I figure the more laughs we have, the better the smiles I'll get, right?
If you're still interested in a Holiday Photo Session, there is just ONE slot available... in Balboa Park the weekend of November 15-16. Please e-mail me if you're interested!
